One of the new values Europeans brought to the Cherokees was a lack of
balance and harmony between men and women. It was what we today call

I really enjoyed "That Small, Hard Thing on the Back of Your Neck," especially its delivery in sections.
That Small, Hard Thing on the Back of Your Neck is darkly beautiful, there's something so joyous and triumphant in that last paragraph that has really stuck with me.
I'm also in awe of how the art by Sebastian Timpe so perfectly captured how the way I imagined one of the key scenes in Deep Sea Baby. ✨
