Honored to be part of this issue! As I was doing the illustrations for Omi Wilde's story, I kept thinking about how putting together a journal is kind of like what happens with the net (and crown) in "On Your Wings"

Wow. I just read "Seven Choices" by Rachel Rodman--which is hauntingly emotive for such a short work. It's a great story that leaves you thinking a lot longer than it takes to read it.

I am thrilled to have my story in this beautiful issue of The Future Fire. All the artwork is superlative, adding a visual component that brings the stories and poem closer. I thought about all the stories after reading them. Taylor, Hughes and Wilde's poignant stories created unique worlds, and characters the readers could root for. I'm looking forward to the next issue.

Oh! I love that comparison (almost as much as I loved your gorgeous and evocative illustrations!)

Finally got time to sit down and savour all the wonderful stories that I'm honoured to have been published along side. Vivid and thought-provoking stories all, but I especially loved Taylor's "Changer's Wood" and Fletcher's "The Thinnest Veil" -- perhaps because the themes of growth and acceptance and forging of unique paths are so important to me.
