This is an extreme horror story with dark humor elements, but the book also explores gender roles of traditional heroes and villains. The protagonists are a henchman and his psychotic assistant and an overweight police dispatcher. Later on, the dispatcher picks up a comic sidekick with a speech impediment.

The book labels everyone in absurd ways, and then explores what those labels are supposed to mean in terms of societal expectations.

It was also my attempt to write a bad horror book in the tradition of a B-film from Tromaville. It features acts of rape and other extreme and unrealistic forms of violence. (One character dies screaming, though in reality he would have been dead already.) So while there are larger themes explored in the work, the dark tone of the work will be upsetting to some people.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
